Badass Balloon Co. teams up with Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus to provide over a thousand custom LED balloons for the parade.
New Orleans, LA. (Feb 17, 2016) Badass Balloon Co., the sassy online party balloon company based in New Orleans will create a vision of floating spheres on Sat February 17, 2017 during the 7th annual Chewbacchus Carnival Parade. Over half of the Krewe’s 2,000 members will be carrying custom created LED latex balloons for the event; a first in the Krewe’s history.
“This was a great way to tie the entire parade together with so many sub krewes. I am excited to see a sea of these balloons on Parade night”. Krewe Captian Ryan Ballard says
These white 12 inch biodegradable latex balloons have been fitted with custom multicolor blinking LED lights and the Krewe’s 2017 theme “The Revel Alliance” will be the artwork that shines through as the parade rolls through the Marigny and Bywater on Saturday night.
A limited edition of these keepsake Intergalactic Krewe Of Chewbacchus LED balloons will be available online at www.badassballoonco.com along with other sassy balloons created specially for Mardi Gras, including “Drinks Well With Others”, “Bon Temp B*tches” and more. LED lights are sold separately on the Badass Balloon Co Website and can be placed into any Badass Balloon before inflation to receive a similar effect to the Chewbacchus parade balloons.
About Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus and The Revel Alliance
Chewbacchus has grown from a scrappy band of a couple hundred Science Fiction lovers into a walking super krewe of a couple thousand enthusiastic freaks and geeks representing the vast spectrum of pop culture fandom.
